About The Ben Effect
The Ben Effect is a community-driven outreach effort founded in honor of our son, Ben, who tragically passed away in a car accident. While his life was far too short, Ben’s kindness, energy, and compassion live on through this mission: to support Shelby County students who are in need of food, clothing, school supplies, and other essentials.
Our organization brings together friends, family, and neighbors who want to make a difference in the lives of local children. Each donation—big or small—helps a student walk into school with confidence, knowing their community cares.
Our Mission
To honor Ben’s life by creating a ripple effect of generosity—engaging people from all walks of life to provide food, clothing, and school supplies to Shelby County students in need.
Why “The Ben Effect”?
Ben had a way of making others feel seen, valued, and supported. His laughter, encouragement, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone around him. We believe that by continuing to spread his spirit of care and generosity, we can create an effect that grows beyond any single person—a chain reaction of good in our schools and community.
